I am genuinely saddened and confused how Declan Leary went through 8 years of Jesuit (!) education and came out with a soul so calloused. I attended and taught at the same Jesuit high school he emerged from, and knowing all those teachers (I did not myself teach him), I can only feel that the institution somehow collectively failed.
