I look forward to this. The right had a weird/begrudging affinity for Bourdain; they admired the more hedonic and transgressive parts of his personality (without the magnanimity, which for libertarians is impossible). I'm old enough to remember that when he passed (RIP), some MAGAs argued that there was foul play b/c Tony was about to express his support for Trump.
